At the moment, there's no exact logline. The series tells the story of an educational experiment in Russian history, the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum. The narrative revolves not only around Pushkin but also his classmates, the founders of the lyceum, educators, statesmen, the elite close to the sovereign, and Alexander I and Nicholas I. The series spans the years 1810-1871, exploring how the lyceum was formed, by whom and with what intent, how the lyceum's regulations and atmosphere influenced its students, who they became in the future, the successes they achieved, the relationships they maintained. It delves into why many Decembrists were lyceum graduates and the consequences of this experiment on Russian history.
