Hi there!
I decided to add a news feed to my website where I’ll be sharing what I’m currently working on, and this is my first post :)
So. I haven’t been posting much on social media lately, and that’s because I’ve been deeply immersed in screenwriting. In 2023–2024, I unexpectedly found myself in the video game industry and spent over a year working on the project The Sixth Force as a narrative designer and cutscene director. It was an unusual and exciting experience for me, but unfortunately, for a number of reasons, the project never made it to completion. On the bright side, I learned how to work in 3D and record animations using motion capture!
At the end of 2024, I joined the StarDust agency as a talent. I had long wanted to write scripts for film and TV, and thanks to my friend and colleague Ksyusha Miroshnik—I found myself a screenwriting agent and became part of a writing team.
For more than six months now, we’ve been working on a script for one of the Russian TV channels. They purchased a 16-episode season, and so far we’ve written six. This experience is also new and unusual for me, but at last I feel like I’m doing something that truly speaks to my heart. Unfortunately, I can’t share more details just yet—we’ll see how it turns out, and I hope you’ll like it!
At the same time, I’m developing my own script ideas into proposals. Over the past six months, I’ve been focused on two concepts: New Light and Engram. Normally proposals get written faster, but I wanted to really understand the inner workings of the process, so I decided not to rush and to go step by step. You can find short descriptions of these ideas in the Ideas section. They’re already out searching for producers—so if you happen to be one and are interested in these or any of my other ideas, feel free to reach out using the contact form!
Oh, and one more thing. I used to work in teaching and theater, but then I took a break. (More about my experience in these areas is in the Coaching and Theater sections.) And you know what? I think I’m ready for new projects. I already have everything planned out, now it’s just a matter of shaping and launching them.
The first project is educational—offline training sessions in St. Petersburg. Yes, yes, I want to step into that river again: every live workshop or course is a journey for me, a test of myself, and a search for something new together with the students. I’ve been thinking about the format for a long time, and now I think I’ve found it. If you’d like to attend my upcoming course—be sure to let me know!
The second project is theatrical. I’ve found a new approach that, I believe, allows for creating plays quickly and in a modern way. I want to try it out. I already have the material, actors, and arrangements ready. It’s almost ready to go.
The third project is online. I want to return to developing my YouTube channel, where I’ll be publishing long-form videos on storytelling and gradually building a new storytelling course (the previous version of the course is in the Online Course section).
I’ll share more details in the next post! Follow me on Instagram and YouTube so you don’t miss it.
See you soon!
